The Course That Cannot Be Defeated
This is the OG — the original. Christened The Course That Cannot Be Defeated, our traditional route of torture and torment never gives in, gives a break or gives up on lifting you to loftiness. It's the basis of our ethos and all of our ride options.
The Course That Cannot Be Defeated is relentless and unwavering, always ready with another lap for you to throw yourself up against. The amount of climbing on The Course That Cannot Be Defeated is so ridiculous — 719 Ride-iculous, in fact — that we created the Epic Climbing Score (ECS) to quantify it.
The ECS is a simple calculation comparing the amount of climbing different cycling events present. The equation is total elevation gain divided by total event distance, and the result is the ECS (excess).
The ECS doesn't indicate one bike event is better than another, or even easier or harder. There are many factors that contribute to an event's Type II Fun, but compared to other Colorado cycling events The Course That Cannot Be Defeated elevates to excess.
Over the course of five laps, The Course That Cannot Be Defeated presents a grand tour of excess — 71.9 miles and 9,190' of elevation gain. Mile for mile, The Course That Cannot Be Defeated makes the 719 Ride one of the most challenging single-day cycling events in Colorado.
Pit yourself against the The Course That Cannot Be Defeated in July. Rise up for a fine jaunt to the next-level of climbing lunacy, and register today.

719 Ride SE
Allow us to introduce to you a kinder, gentler and slightly easier (SE) form of suffering built on the bones of The Course That Cannot Be Defeated.
The 719 Ride SE omits the Blodgett Drive and Rossmere Street climbs of our original course, shaving off 2.2 miles and more than 350' of elevation gain from each lap.
Five laps of this feisty fireplug serves up a metric century and more than 7,300' of rictus inducing satisfaction and fun. And as always, your 719 Ride registration comes with as many laps as your heart desires and your legs allow.
The 719 Ride SE is 719% Ride-iculous, and you're gonna love it! But the true brilliance of the SE is that it can be easily mixed and matched on the fly with the other course options to create your own personalized brand of 719 Ride-ical wonder and magnificence.
Ride a lap of The Course That Cannot Be Defeated, two laps of the SE and a lap of the GoldiLITE 719, and you've taken to heart the spirit of our Personal Challenge Rides and created your own mountain of majesty, albeit orange instead of purple.

GoldiLITE 719
The Goldilocks 719 is one lap of The Course That Cannot Be Defeated. So called because it's not too long, and it's not too easy. It's one lap of just right, if by just right you mean a tad bit hard.
In contrast, the GoldiLITE 719 is truly just right. It's our family-friendly frolic of friskiness. Four and a half miles long with less than 400' of elevation gain, this mostly flat course has three turns to its name, all of which are right turns, essentially making it a ride around the block.
Because this is the 719 Ride, the GoldiLITE 719 does include a climb up Flying W Ranch Road. But even after five laps up Flying W, this fun-loving festival of family fantastic time leaves everyone enough energy and free time for a walk in the park.
Combine the GoldiLITE with a couple laps of the 719 Ride SE or The Course That Cannot Be Defeated and put a fine finish on a day with friends or first-time event participants. The potential combinations are endess, but they all unlock The Door to Personal Excellence.
