About the Workouts

A lap of The Course That Cannot Be Defeated generally takes 55 to 70 minutes to complete in the outside world. Some people go faster, and many go slower. The range tends to span 45 to 105 minutes.

Each of the custom workouts bring the 719 Ride parcours into Zwift with efforts and segment durations that represent an outdoor experience on Il Corso Imbattibile.

45-minute, 60-minute, 75-minute and 90-minute workouts are included in the download file.

Each workout is pegged to a percentage of your FTP. The 45-minute workout has shorter duration segments with higher relative power outputs. The longer workouts lengthen the efforts and adjust the power requirements to mirror the effort and duration typical for each climb when seeking to complete a full lap in the real world.

The workouts do not include a warmup. They hit you with a demand for steady power right from the get-go, as if you rolled out of the Chipeta Elementary School parking lot in Colorado Springs and immediately started climbing Flying W Ranch Rd.

Introducing Ottavio Severo

Born in November 1851 during the Risorgimento, the political and social movements that led to Italian unification, Ottavio was the oldest of five children born to Constantino and Elisabetta Severo, poor land owners in the Mezzogiorno.

A Colorado Springs Original

First conceived and ridden in 2016, the 719 Ride aspires to be a bicycle event that contributes to the culture and community of Colorado Springs. FORZA Colorado Springs!

The 719 Ride is a Colorado Springs Original riding in the draft of many great and long-established Colorado cycling events. It hopes to become a positive part of the Colorado Springs tradition and identity while helping set the pace for cycling in the Rocky Mountain region.
